Vijaya Nannegari
1 cup allpurpose flour
1 1/2 cups of sugar
1 tbsp besan
1 tbsp Urad dhal powder
1 tbsp rice flour
saffron few strands
1 tsp of cardamom
1/2 yeast packet ( Fleischmann's )
Mix all purpose flour. urad daal powder, rice flour and besan in a bowl .
mix yeast in warm water and mix it above flours without any lumps.
In a separate pan make sugar syrup with single string consistency
add tea spoon of lemon juice, cardamom, saffron and food color to the sugar syrup.
Pour the batter in a mustard bottle ( for dispensing) and make jilebi shapes take them out when they are
light brown and put them in the syrup , and take them out after few mts to a tray.
