Besan Ladoo

Besan laddu

1 cup Besan
1/2 cup ghee
1 cup Sugar
2 tbsp cardamom
Put a think Bottomed Pan
Add Ghee and besan and keep frying
Mean while take sugar and mix with enough water ( just so that sugar is immersed )
and make your pakam , single string consistency
When the besan and ghee turns to golden brown, add cashews
Take out from the flame and set to cool
Add the Sugar Syrup to the Besan mixture
Add the Cardamom powder
Let the mixture cool down
When luke warm make them into balls, this yields about 17 laddus
